‘In the foreground there is a small sailing ship with the sails hoisted. Small coal carts can be seen on the rail lines on the wharf area and several pulley systems are spread out along the dock. There are barges moored next to the sailing ship. A steamer called Iceberg is docked in the centre foreground, while a three-masted sail boat is laying at anchor behind the ‘Iceberg. Larger ships in the background from left to right are “Leichhardt”, ??, Tom Fisher Schooner (small white sails), ?? can be seen in the background.’
