    Looks like the Photoengraving Dept. With a teacher and student operating a letterpress proofing press. Once a photoengraving had been etched and finished it had to be proofed to check for imperfections. A small press like this was used. The engraving was temporarily mounted on to a “Type Height” mounting block, the ink was applied and a single print was taken.
    The teacher here MAY be Max McArdle, the photoengraving teacher in the mid 60’s…
